You can see how dangerously close the fires burned to this house just outside Mirboo North in February 2009.

These home owners had prepared their property with fire fighting equipment and large cleared areas around their home.

Sunrise Over The Prom

We live high on hilltop in South Gippsland overlooking Wilsons Promontory National Park so the scenery changes dramatically, especially when the sunrise is bright or a storm is coming.

Squeaky Beach Sand Dunes

This beautiful, clean beach can be found at Wilsons Promontory National Park. The sand squeaks when you walk on it – hence the name.

Bush Fire Burned Hill

The largest part of South Gippsland to be devastated by the recent bush fires, was undoubtedly Wilsons Promontory National Park.  But the Mirboo North and Boolara areas were also severely affected.

This panorama of the burnt bushland on the side of the hill was taken from the road near Glennie Lookout.

View From Darby River

Wilsons Promontory National Park has suffered considerable damage from raging bushfires over the last few months, but many parts were also saved – like the beautiful Darby River.

You can still see the evidence of fire damage on the hills in the distance, but the magnificent reflection from the water is far more dominant.

Hello…it’s Elizabeth Richardson here.

elizabeth-richardsonABOUT ME – I’m a website designer with a passion for photography. I spend a lot of fun time taking pictures of my local area, which is South Gippsland in Victoria, Australia.

Wilsons Promontory National Park is one of my favourite places to visit for landscapes and I love to get extra exercise along the many fabulous walking tracks there.

Almost anywhere on the Prom Coast is excellent for seaside scenes (and I particularly sense an affinity with Port Albert).

PHOTOGRAPHY LICENSE – Having a Parks Victoria LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY LICENSE gives me permission to sell photographs taken in the states National Parks – legally.

GALLERIES AND PORTFOLIOS – There’s a huge gallery of local photographs including gardens, birds and animals at SOUTH GIPPSLAND PHOTO GALLERY as well as a BUSINESS PORTFOLIO that you are welcome to check out…and speaking of business, I specialize in photographs for local companies, shops and stores that are used for advertising, websites and other media including television.

WORKING LOCATIONS – When in Victoria, I happily work in all areas of South Gippsland, Prom Country and Bass Coast, such as Yarram and Woodside in the north to Loch, Bena and Poowong in the West…and as far to the south as Phillip Island, Wonthaggi, Inverloch and Walkerville … but I’m actually based right in the center in beautiful Foster.

BOOKING A PHOTO SHOOT – Anyway, thanks for dropping by. Take a look through a sample of my panoramas on this website listed in the SITEMAP or try the ARCHIVES LIST below. Also, feel free to give me a call during regular business hours on 0459 675251 or use the CONTACT form if you’d like to book for a business, event or private photo shoot. I’m looking forward to talking with you.
