This wonderful long jetty at Port Welshpool has been disused for several years and a push is now underway to have it repaired and re-opened for public and commercial shipping.

Tranquil Creek In Bushland

This delightful little Australian bushland creek can be found in a quiet camping area called Turtons Creek in Victoria.

Made into a giant poster, this photograph can be cropped several different ways and can apparently be blown up to billboard size, though I haven’t actually tried it yet.

Tarwin River After Floods

I had no idea that the Tarwin River flooded in the last big rains until I visited there the other day on my way to Venus Bay. The water must have come very close to the main road, but had obviously washed over a long distance of the walking track.

This photograph looks amazing with a picture effect that highlights the green colour in the calm scene.

Venus Bay Beach Panorama

Took a trip to Venus Bay today and met a delightful couple who travel from Melbourne regularly, to catch pippies and stroll along the beach here. The drama in the sky today made it even more exciting to shoot a high dynamic range picture.

This was a normal photograph of a seagull on the beach with accent on the particular colour blue that you can see in the sky…it creates a nice effect.

Bush Fire Damaged Terrain

This is quite an extraordinary view…walking along bush fire damaged tracks and overlooking the beautiful, unspoilt Darby River at Wilsons Promontory National Park.

See more great photographs showing the rejuvenating landscapes and the devastation, taken AFTER THE BUSHFIRES at Wilsons Prom.

Bush Fire Burned Hill

The largest part of South Gippsland to be devastated by the recent bush fires, was undoubtedly Wilsons Promontory National Park.  But the Mirboo North and Boolara areas were also severely affected.

This panorama of the burnt bushland on the side of the hill was taken from the road near Glennie Lookout.
