This wonderful long jetty at Port Welshpool has been disused for several years and a push is now underway to have it repaired and re-opened for public and commercial shipping.

One of the greatest advantages of using a Pro Digital Camera like the Canon 5D II means that I can easily take low level lighting photography without even using a tripod…when we were walking around Melbourne on this particular night, the sky was an amazing caramel colour which privided a rich backdrop to the purple and greens in the foreground.

We live high on hilltop in South Gippsland overlooking Wilsons Promontory National Park so the scenery changes dramatically, especially when the sunrise is bright or a storm is coming.

My daughter spotted this sunrise before I did. We’re really fortunate to be living high on a hill with magnificent views over the valley, Corner Inlet and Wilsons Prom.
