Flowers, babies and dogs tend to be the easiest conversation starters. As I was walking down a side street in Foster , these beautiful garden flowers caught my eye, and of course I stopped to chat to their proud owner.

I could have a website dedicated to flower photographs…I just love them. Don’t the water droplets make it shine!

I can’t resist taking photos of flowers. My favourite things to photograph. Just started using a fabulous gitzo tripod to give the camera extra stability for taking macro shots. It sure makes them clearer.

These roses come from my garden in Foster.
They were just starting to decompose when this picture was taken , but the unusual colouring, when placed on black, makes a magnificent fine art print.
