Australian beaches are renowned for their clean white sans and terrific surf.

This wonderful long jetty at Port Welshpool has been disused for several years and a push is now underway to have it repaired and re-opened for public and commercial shipping.

Took a trip to Venus Bay today and met a delightful couple who travel from Melbourne regularly, to catch pippies and stroll along the beach here. The drama in the sky today made it even more exciting to shoot a high dynamic range picture.

This was a normal photograph of a seagull on the beach with accent on the particular colour blue that you can see in the sky…it creates a nice effect.

Wilsons Promontory, squeaky beach, on a warm day, great surf, two girls, having fun…what more could you ask for???

This beautiful, clean beach can be found at Wilsons Promontory National Park. The sand squeaks when you walk on it – hence the name.
