I’m just so excited…I’m getting superb results with product photography as these glasses of fruit will show you…what fun! Give me a task and I’ll come up with something more creative each day.

The colour tones found in the foliage of the Australian grass trees (xanthorrhoea species) range from deep browns to yellows and greens. These ones have been blatantly coloured just for artisitic effect, but the tones were taken from the original samples found in the spiky leaves.

A group of musicians provide some background music for a theatre production, and this woman playing a flute caught my attention.

Something old … something new … something borrowed … something blue …
I can’t resist taking photos of flowers. My favourite things to photograph. Just started using a fabulous gitzo tripod to give the camera extra stability for taking macro shots. It sure makes them clearer.

Well, I finally lashed out and bought a professional quality camera…not just any camera either, but the brand new Canon 5D Mark II. It’s worth every cent. The image quality is incredible and I’ve taken pictures up to 3200 ISO without even a smidgen (is that how you spell it?) of noise to talk about…amazing!

These roses come from my garden in Foster.
They were just starting to decompose when this picture was taken , but theĀ unusual colouring, when placed on black, makes a magnificent fine art print.
