It could be said I take my camera everywhere with me – even into the shower!
Well actually, I was getting some practise using fast shutter speeds and sync flash for this picture of water streaming from the shower head. Lucky we supply our own water and our rainfall is high in South Gippsland. In some parts of Australia, you just wouldn’t attempt a stunt like this, even for photographic pleasure.

After the bushfires at Wilsons Prom, these unusual native Australian grass trees sprouted with new green growth. They make a wonderful contrast to the blackened tree trunks in the background.

I could have a website dedicated to flower photographs…I just love them. Don’t the water droplets make it shine!

Something old … something new … something borrowed … something blue …
I can’t resist taking photos of flowers. My favourite things to photograph. Just started using a fabulous gitzo tripod to give the camera extra stability for taking macro shots. It sure makes them clearer.
