Pointing the lens towards the bright sun gave me the interesting bokeh effect behind this delightful Australian native plant.

I’ve taken photos of many business throughout South Gippsland, but my favourite type of photography is product photo shoots. It gives me a chance to be even more creative.

By request, I’ve also started producing brochures and online catalogues. What fun! And the customer is delighted.

I love taking night photography in Melbourne. One necessity is a tripod, but patience is also required to capture just the right light conditions to create a certain mood.

The Working Horse And Tractor Rally at Korumburra is a great place to go to catch a glimpse of what farming was like in days gone by.

These majestic working horses where shaking the flies away from their eyes on a hot and dusty day.

During post processing of the photograph I used a treatment to make them appear as though they are wet from the rain…I like the effect…what do you think?

On our way home from Morwell National Park in Gippsland, we were stopped in our tracks by a tree that had fallen over the Grand Ridge Road. While navigating our way back and taking a different route, we stumbled across the delightful Morwell River…I hope to go back again very soon…it is really beautiful.

Flowers, babies and dogs tend to be the easiest conversation starters. As I was walking down a side street in Foster , these beautiful garden flowers caught my eye, and of course I stopped to chat to their proud owner.

This wonderful long jetty at Port Welshpool has been disused for several years and a push is now underway to have it repaired and re-opened for public and commercial shipping.

You can see how dangerously close the fires burned to this house just outside Mirboo North in February 2009.

These home owners had prepared their property with fire fighting equipment and large cleared areas around their home.
